Who can study at Your Flying Academy, and which languages do we teach?
We offer classes for students in grades 4–8, secondary school students, and adults. Our courses are suitable both for complete beginners and for those who want to further develop their existing language skills. We teach English, German, Spanish, Portuguese, Russian, and Turkish.
Does the Academy offer one-to-one classes? How many cadets are there in each group?
One-to-one classes are designed for students who want to learn at their own pace, focus on specific goals, or need more flexible scheduling. Group classes are kept small, with a maximum of 2–3 students. This gives everyone plenty of opportunity to take an active part in each lesson and speak regularly with the tutor.
Does the Academy prepare for exams?
Yes. We can prepare students for the Polish eighth-grade exam, the Matura, language proficiency exams, and other tests requiring knowledge of a specific language.
Can I change the date of the classes?
For one-to-one classes, lesson times can be changed depending on the tutor’s availability. Group classes follow a pre-arranged schedule, although rescheduling may also be possible if both the group members and the tutor are available.
How do I enter a state of weightlessness?
Simply contact us and provide a few basic details: your chosen language, the participant’s age, current proficiency level, and preferred class format. We’ll then help you choose the most suitable course.
Are online classes an option? Where do in-person classes take place?
We offer online classes, so you can learn with us from anywhere in the universe. In-person classes take place either at students’ homes in selected districts or in Bielany.
Does the Academy accept new cadets during the training year?
Yes. You can also join during the year, provided that our individual tutors still have places available.
Will I receive study materials?
Yes. Our tutors select materials according to each student’s level, age, and learning goals. These may include textbooks, exercises, original teaching materials, and online activities using tools such as Quizlet and Wordwall. Above all, however, we focus on our own original materials.
How often are classes held? How long does each lesson last?
The frequency of classes depends on the course you choose. Most lessons take place once or twice a week. A standard lesson lasts 60 minutes, but 90-minute sessions are also available depending on the Cadet’s needs and the tutor’s availability.
What happens if I can’t attend a class?
Because we respect our students’ time and would like our own time to be respected as well, we ask for at least 24 hours’ notice when cancelling or rescheduling a class. Of course, we do make allowances for exceptional circumstances. However, classes cancelled at the last minute without a valid reason mean lost time for us and are therefore charged at the standard rate.
